11+ Assessments
The 11+ assessment process is an entrance examination used by selective independent and grammar schools in the UK to select academically competent students for admission into Year 7. Typically taken in Year 6, when children are 10 or 11 years old, the test assesses a range of skills including English, Mathematics, verbal reasoning, and non-verbal reasoning. Single Mock 11+ Assessment (English or Maths)
If you wish, you may select for your child to sit only one of our 11+ mock assessments; English or Maths. Please contact us to discuss and find out the next availability for an assessment morning.
Our tests are carried out in groups of up to 10 children and in test conditions to match it to their real assessment as closely as we can. You will receive the results of your child’s test with written feedback on their performance.

Conducted at one of our test centres, groups of up to 10 children will carry out an English paper comprising of reading, writing and spelling and a maths exam both under test conditions. The whole session lasts 2 hours with a short break in between.
After, you will receive the results of the exams together with a written report on how they performed, so you know which areas to focus on going forward.

Dual Mock 11+ Assessments
If you would like to arrange tutoring sessions for your child with a focus on the 11+ assessments in English and Maths, we can match you with one of our skilled tutors. They will check your child’s current ability and highlight areas to focus on in the tutor sessions to help plug any gaps in their understanding. The tutor will also include exam style questions during each session to help build your child’s confidence and ability to answer these questions when they sit for the 11+ entrance exam at their chosen school.
