7+ Assessments

The 7+ assessments are entrance exams used by selective independent schools in the UK to evaluate children, typically in Year 2, for entry into Year 3. These assessments test core skills such as reading, writing, mathematics, and occasionally reasoning or listening abilities, depending on the school. The process can feel daunting for parents, especially as it often includes interviews and classroom observation components.

Beyond Tutoring provide expert guidance and tailored support to help families navigate the 7+ journey with confidence. From assessing a child’s readiness and building foundation skills, to offering practice materials and interview preparation, Beyond Tutoring work closely with parents to create a structured, supportive plan that ensures their child is fully prepared and confident on assessment day.
